She worked hard from a young age to support her grandparents, whom she loved dearly. She was a very devoted daughter to her father and sister to her brothers. She was a country girl at heart and loved gardening and country music. She ran her own Landscape Gardening service until she retired in 2009. Her favorite sweets were Peach Cobbler, pink Hostess Snowballs and Gooey Butter cake from Lake Forest Bakery. Strong in body and spirit she overcame a bout with Pneumonia and flu together last year that put her in intensive care for 10 days, an illness that the Doctors said was going to kill her, but she survived.
She is much loved and will be missed forever.
